Jasmine’s Juice- Queens Of Music – BET UK- Launches December 12th!

Yesterday evening saw many of the Black British women across decades who are mostly unknown, uncredited, and responsible for so much music industry success behind the scenes, unite to watch the screening of Queens of Music which airs on BET UK.

Episode 1- 12th December

Episode 2- 19th December

A beautiful story of camaraderie & sisterhood in the music industry

The history, memories, battles,…it’s a must watch this fortnight!

Black women have often been whitewashed out of the picture, and denied their credit and flowers whilst in their roles.

This TV show shows the incredible legacy and impact that they have had not only on the British music industry, but also on each other as comrades, unifying and lifting each other up when times have been tough.

It was heartwarming and joyous to see my best friends and their peers receive their flowers.

Together we can end youth homelessness!

Every 4 minutes a young person faces homelessness in the UK.

Young people facing homelessness are some of the most vulnerable people in our society.

Youth homelessness affects education and impacts an adult’s future life for years ahead.

1 in 52 young people are homeless in the UK.

Centerpoint is the UK’s leading young people’s homelessness charity.
They support over $14,000 young people every year.

67% of young people who left Centerpoint in 2023 and 2024 have gone on to successfully live independently.

The London City Philharmonic Orchestra performed as we entered the ballroom. @londonphilharmonicorchestra

It was a truly magical evening, hosted by the BBC’s Chris Hollins, comedy by Dane Buckley, @danecomedian and music by @keleleroc Kel Le Roc and her incredible band had guests sprinting to the dancefloor.

The Celebration Gala is not a one-off event.

It will expand each year to include cities around the world to eventually create the greatest night of entertainment.

Huge congratulations and thanks to @flossyboots88 Fleur Sarfaty and Damian @damianalexanderdubel
